LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Roughly 10,000 people ran in the Little Rock Color Run Saturday. The race benefits the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

"The color run is a race where everyone starts off in white. Then as you go along the race route, we throw different colored corn starch at runners," said director Kent Phippen.

At each kilometer, each person is covered in different colors.

"In the end, you end up all colorful and beautiful, and its great," said race worker Emily Cozzens.

The race does not have an official winner.

"The majority of our runners actually walk the race," said Cozzens.
