Armed robbery suspect arrested
ARKADELPHIA, AR - Authorities have arrested a man they say robbed a Stuckey's convenience Friday. The suspect had been released from prison in July after serving time for burglary.
The robbery took place around 3am Friday and according to Clark County Sheriff Jason Watson, the suspect fired a shot as he left the store.
Chance Rutherford, 25, was arrested Friday night in connection with the robbery.
Sheriff Watson says Rutherford was sentenced to 20 years in prison after his conviction on burglary charges in October 2009 and was released from prison in July 2012.
