JACKSONVILLE, AR - The Lonoke County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they believe
smashed a gun case at Walmart and stole two rifles.
The incident happened around 5am January 19. Jacksonville Police say the rifles taken were a Marlin XT-17HMR and a Bushmaster M4A3 Patrol Carbine Rifle.
Deputies arrested Justin Mavity at the Pony Express in Cabot off of Highway 5 Monday. They say he confessed to the crime and has been charged with two counts of Theft of Property and one count of Criminal Mischief.
The Bushmaster has been recovered but the Marlin rifle has not.
