Austin man and woman arrested on drug charges
Wednesday, Lonoke County sheriff's deputies got a call about illegal drug activity on Oakridge Road. When they arrived, they found 1.3 ounces of pseudoephedrine in powder form.
Deputies also found a set of digital scales and a pill bottle with signs of residue.
They arrested 34-year-old Harley Ray Bradford and 39-year-old Patricia Anne Swope for possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
Lt. Kulesa related, this was a case of purchasing pseudoephedrine for the purpose of selling or trading the substance for meth. They were able to confirm information on the Leads On Labs program.
