NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church was spray painted with white supremacist markings Monday night.

The church, which has a predominately African-American congregation, had the letters “KKK” and swastikas sprayed on the building. Other symbols associated with hate groups were also found on the church, i.e. “Lightning Bolts” and the “Stormfront Cross,” according to the incident report.

Deputies were unable to find any evidence related to the vandalism when they searched the area around the church.

Mount Pilgrim was destroyed by a tornado in April of 2011. A fundraiser was held to rebuild the church, and it held its first service since the storm last October.
