Conway Co. Man Arrested for Animal Cruelty

Conway county deputies arrested the owner of four horses reported as abused and neglected.

Neighbors in the St. Vincent community in Conway County spent months trying to get help for the horses. Witnesses reported seeing the animals eat the bark off nearby trees because they were so hungry. Their owner, Jerome Moore now faces 4 counts of animal cruelty.

Authorities say he gave the animals to private caretakers and they're trying to see if they can nurse the horses back to health.
