Former PCSSD superintendent dies

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Fox16 has received sad news about Dr. Charles Hopson, the former superintendent of Pulaski County Special School District.

According to an email received from the Portland School District in Oregon, Dr. Hopson died Tuesday.

Dr. Hopson left PCSSD after the Arkansas Department of Education took over the school district. He took a job with the Houston Independent School District as the School Improvement Officer for High Schools.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Hopson's family.
