LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church turns one hundred years old.

Over 4,000 members attend the church in Little Rock's Hillcrest community. The average age of the congregation is 34 years old. Senior Pastor Britt Skarda says the church's involvement in the community makes the services meaningful.

"We're involved in overseas missions. We're involved in local missions. We've got partnerships with local schools. That is really what our mission is about; sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the community," said Skarda.

Going beyond the walls of the church is what keeps members excited about giving their time, talents and tithes.

"We have the Ozark Mission Project that goes out into the rural part of Arkansas that helps rebuild for a weekend," said member Kyle Forehand.

After seeing how well the last 100 years have been, members anticipate another century of success.
