Man Robs Garland County Bank at Gunpoint

HOT SPRINGS, AR - The Hot Springs Bank and Trust at 4579 Highway 7 North was robbed at gunpoint Friday evening according to the Garland County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect brandished a dark colored handgun, but did not fire any shots. After the robbery, the man left the scene in a blue 2008 Chevy Cobalt heading northbound on Highway 7. The sheriff’s office the car has an Arkansas license plate, 437-ORE, and was reported stolen Thursday.

The man is described as being 5’8” to 6’0” tall, wearing a dark mask, blue hoodie, and blue jeans.
