Man charged with murdering Little Rock hairdresser fit to stand trial

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Little Rock man has been found fit to stand trial, FOX16 has learned.

According to reports, 26-year-old Stephen Shaw has been found fit to stand trial on charges of capital murder and theft of receiving.

Shaw was charged in the murder of 41-year-old Wesley Burris, a Little Rock hairdresser found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at his home in April 2012 after firefighters responded to reports about Burris' SUV being on fire.

Another man, 26-year-old Antonio Suggs, was also arrested for theft by receiving in connection with this incident.

Shaw’s jury trial is set to begin on February 13.
