Mom arrested for leaving baby while liquor shopping

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – 30 year old Amy McIntosh is accused of leaving her infant while going to the liquor store and visiting her own mother.

A neighbor reported hearing the 11 month old child crying and went to investigate. When no one answered the door, the neighbor reportedly busted through the door finding the baby on the floor with a bloody nose and a soiled diaper.

McIntosh is in the Pulaski County Detention Center charged with endangering the welfare of minor and obstructing government operations. She reportedly originally gave investigators false information about her identity.
