LITTLE ROCK, AR - A search warrant and a traffic stop led to the arrest of a man and woman and a teen on drug charges in White County Thursday.
Phillip Walls, 41, and Danille Taylor, 31, were arrested when a search warrant was executed at 111 Fire Tower Road in Bald Knob. Both were charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance With Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Drug Premises. Walls was also charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.
Five other people at the residence were in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Corporal Steve Hernandez. Donna McDaniel, 50, Dierra Thomas, 19, Amanda Burleson, 41, and Harold Gilbert, 51, were issued citations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released.
Earnest Gilbert, 47, was found to have a misdemeanor warrant and was taken into custody.
In a separate incident, Searcy police stopped a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old after receiving a disturbance complaint involving a firearm.
The teen was arrested for Carrying a Prohibited Weapon after the officer found a set of brass knuckles on him, according to Cpl. Hernandez.
Police say a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a loaded .40 caliber Glock semi-automatic pistol from under the driver's floor mat, as well as a black backpack that contained 26 grams of suspected marijuana, 33 individual plastic bags containing various pills, along with two sets of digital scales.
Investigators determined there were 164 Oxycodone tablets valued at $4,920, 55 Clonazepam tablets valued at $110, 134 Morphine tablets valued at $4,020 and 22 Alprazolam (Xanax) tablets valued at $44.
