BENTON, AR – A man was caught burglarizing a home while the homeowner was still inside, according to the Benton Police.

Police say the crime occurred Wednesday around 8:47am at 4411 Donna Drive. Police say the woman heard someone breaking into her house and called police.

When police arrived, they arrested David Miller, 35, who was holding the homeowner’s prescription medicine at the time.

Miller is charged with residential burglary, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing, theft by receiving, and unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime.
