LITTLE ROCK, AR – A teller at the Metropolitan Bank on Cantrell was pepper-sprayed during a robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a man and a woman are suspects in the robbery. Both entered the bank and demanded money. The man showed a handgun while the woman sprayed the teller. Both left the scene in a white Chevy Malibu.

The teller was treated at the scene. No customers were inside the bank during the robbery.

The male suspect is described as being 6’0” to 6’4” tall, 280 pounds, full beard, wearing all black and a zip-up hoodie. The woman was also wearing all black. She is described as being 5’4” tall and 140 pounds.

The bank is located at 7401 Cantrell Road. The robbery occurred at about 2:56pm.
