SHERWOOD, AR -- Police could have a lead in a hit-and-run case that took the life of a 3-year-old child.

Sherwood Police say they are processing a red Chevrolet Tahoe in connection with the hit-and-run at the Park Crest Apartments on Manson Road.

The incident left 3-year-old Jaylen Diggs in critical condition. He later died at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

A search warrant for the vehicle was obtained after seeing surveillance video from a nearby business, according to police.

Police have spoken with the owner of the vehicle, but no arrests have been made.

In related news, donations to the family of the victim, Jaylen Diggs can be made at any Bank of America to the "Memorial Fund for Jaylen Diggs."

The money would help the family pay for expenses related to Jaylen's death.

The child's grandmother tells Fox 16 News that his funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, at the St. Stephens Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

The memorial fund will remain an active account until March 22.
