North Arkansas Electric Cooperative's outages have increased to 100,000 customers. The outages are mainly in North Arkansas.

Baxter CountyA Red Cross Shelter has been set up at East Side Baptist Church on Highway 5 and at the Salvation Army Church behind the Exxon Station on Highway 201 N.

The cause of the outages is from tree limbs, trees, and the weight of ice on structures.
According to officials, they are beginning to see a few transmission and substation issues. There was a small fire at one substation, which took the entire station down. There are some minor, future concerns regarding supplies and food for the crews in the field
