GARLAND COUNTY, AR - The Garland County Sheriff’s Office arrested a couple from Mt. Ida on felony drug charges during a traffic stop.

According to the arrest report, a deputy pulled over John and Christina Phillips for speeding on Albert Pike at 2am on Thursday. The deputy noticed a syringe on the floorboards on the driver side and the driver, John, said he used it to “shoot meth.”

The reports says a search of the car found a black bag with a scale, two syringes, a spoon, two straws, four capsules containing a white powdery substance, and a contact case with a white powdery substance.
