MORRILTON, AR – The Morrilton Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man that happened Tuesday morning.
Police say they responded to a home at 905 W. Elm St to find a man, identified as 29-year-old Michael Brockman, on the ground with a gunshot wound. Just 15-minutes later the suspect, 21-year-old Jeremy Walls, was arrested in the Hattieville area.
According to police, the shooting death appears to have started as an argument between Brockman and Walls.
Walls is currently in the Conway County detention center awaiting formal charges.
