LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man who opened fire in an apartment complex parking Monday morning reportedly said “This is what it is” before injuring two people with an assault rifle.

The shooting happened around 3:45am at the Stone Crest Apartments on 9700 Baseline Road. Injured in the shooting were Edward Moten and Ken Cooney. Both were taken to UAMS for treatment, police say their injuries are non-life threatening.

A third person with Moten and Cooney who was not injured in the shooting said the shooter got out of a car on Winston Road and shot across the parking lot.
