LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police are have identified the victim in a shooting a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of 19th and Brown.
Police say they received the call about the shooting around 3:51pm. When they arrived they found the victim, later identified as Antonio D. Nelson, lying in the street, with a single gunshot to his upper torso. Nelson was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time there are no suspects and no motive for the shooting.
This is Little Rock's 8th homicide of 2012.
