Yell County Escapees Held on $1M Bond

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Three inmates who escaped from the Dardanelle jail Sunday were given $1 million bonds at a court hearing Monday.

Bret Cooksey, Seth Chowning, and Jacqueline Stobaugh escaped from the jail around 2:30pm and were recaptured late Sunday night. The Yell County Sheriff says he expects charges to be filed against the trio soon. Charges could include 2nd degree battery, escape, kidnapping, theft of property, terroristic threatening, and impairing the operation of a vital public facility.

Their next court date is scheduled for May 9th in Yell County Circuit Court.
