2 children and a woman die in Forrest City fire

A woman and two children died in a house fire in Forrest City.  Authorities responded to the fire around 2:40am on Drexel Street.  Neighbors told crews that an female and two children lived in the home and may still be inside.

After the fire was put out, firefighters found the bodies of an adult female and two children.  They have not made a positive ID on the bodies at this time.  The bodies are being sent to the Arkansas State Crime lab for an autopsy.

The Forrest City Police and Fire Departments are still investigating this case and trying to determine the cause of the fire.
