Six game room owners were arrested on suspicion of illegal gambling after Saline County deputies raided four game rooms.  Neighbors say this was a long time coming.

The open sign is shut off as the game room on Highway 167 was shut down.

"It's not if you're going to get caught...it's when we get you," says Lieutenant Mike Frost with the Saline County Sheriff's Department.

Around $10,000 has already been seized out of the more than 100 machines being taken away.  Four guns were also found and police say one of the people arrested is a felon.

"I have young kids and I felt like they could be in danger," says neighbor Robert Carrington.

Carrington saw the arrests from his front yard.

"I heard some police officers holler 'put your hands up on your head,'" says Carrington.

He checked out the safety of the growing business just a few months ago.

"When I went in there, they kept asking me if I was a cop," says Carrington.

He says, although he's happy the owners have been arrested, he doesn't think removing the machines will stop them from trying it again.

"I don't know that they won't be back," says Carrington.

The raid happened at 11:30 Friday night.  Four businesses were shut down, all being run out of the same strip mall. Police estimate a total of $30,000 could surface once safes are opened.
