LITTLE ROCK, AR -- November is Adoption Month, and there's no better way to celebrate than to showcase the many new families that have been formed.
The Department of Human Services recognized Thursday as "Adoption Day" in Pulaski County.
During this month alone, nineteen children in the county will have their adoptions finalized. The children range from all ages, and some are going into families that are already established.
But the parents say they chose to adopt because the need is great.
"The bottom line is kids need families. They need a parent. One or two they need parents," Julian Ann Sublette said.
