Arkansas House Votes to Keep Conceal Carry Names Private
Information about who has conceal carry permits in Arkansas will soon be kept private.
The House voted 84-3 to no longer make conceal carry permit holders' names and zip codes available under the Freedom of Information Act.
The bill sponsor says he filed the legislation in response to a New York area newspaper that published the names of conceal carry permit holders immediately after the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting.
