LITTLE ROCK, AR – The former pastor of the First Pentecostal Church of Jonesboro was sentenced to 33 months in prison for bank fraud and failure to pay payroll tax.

Scott Keith Voss, 43-years-old, was also ordered by a federal judge to pay $450,000 worth of restitution to the Firsts Bank of Owasso and $148,565 to the IRS. After his 2 plus years in prison, Voss will have 5 years of supervised release.

The Department of Justice says that Voss pleaded guilty to the two charges in November. According to the DOJ, Voss was taking out loans from the bank, using land from the church as collateral.

Voss also admitted from 2006 to 2010 that the church withheld tax payments from their employee paychecks, but never made any of those payments to the IRS.
