Human Heartbeat Bill to see some changes

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A bill that would have prohibited an abortion as early as six weeks in Arkansas is getting some changes.   
   
The Human Hearbeat Bill would make it illegal to abort a pregnancy once a heartbeat is detected, except for cases of rape or incest.
   
But bill sponsor Jason Rapert says he's changing the language of the bill to require a less invasive "abdominal ultrasound," a procedure which typically only detects a heartbeat 10 - 12 weeks into pregnancy.
   
Still, current federal law protects a woman's right to choose until viability of the fetus at 22 to 24 weeks.
