Inside the Teenage Brain: Workshop for parents

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Ever wonder why your child is so impulsive and emotional? Can’t figure out why they like to take risks and sleep in late?

The North Little Rock School District will be holding a free workshop called “Inside the Teenage Brain.” It will review some of the current research into adolescent brain development and participants will learn strategies for dealing with these challenging teenage behaviors.

The hour-long workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:30pm in the Lakewood Middle School and 9th grade Campus Mini-auditorium. Door prizes, including a one night stay at Crown Plaza Hotel, will be given out. Snacks and coffee are also available.
