Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola is getting national recognition.
Mayor Stodola will receive an award at at the "Friends of National Service" reception hosted in Washington, D.C. Monday night.
The Little Rock mayor is being honored for his efforts in education and health care initiatives, coordinating disaster relief and enabling senior independence.
