A Lonoke woman was busted for giving marijuana to a 14-year-old girl. What's worse, some of the neighborhood kids smoked the pot!

"I think it's wrong, no kid should be given drugs," said Rebecca Lorance.

Lieutenant Jim Kulesa of the Lonoke County Sheriffs Department says 49-year-old Donna Dwight of Lonoke gave marijuana to a 14-year old girl.

"Some of the kids in the neighborhood had smoked it already," said Lt. Jim Kulesa.

That is not what Rebecca Lorance, a mother of seven kids wants to hear.  "She better be glad that I live here and she better not walk through my yard, I have to protect my babies," said Lorance.

Deputies say Dwight admitted to giving the marijuana to the 14-year-old girl but says she didn't think it was a big deal.

"She also made the comment, marijuana is legal in California, I told her you're not in California," said Lt. Jim Kulesa.

Deputies arrested Dwight for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. Drugs were found in her house that she shares with her own 13-year-old daughter.

"The living conditions in the house is unfit, we have filed a report with DHS, we want them to go out there, there were feces in the house, yes," said Lt. Jim Kulesa.

"It hurts to know that someone would hurt an innocent kid," said Rebecca Lorance.
