LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Clinton School of Public Service hosted a Missouri mother Thursday, whose daughter committed suicide in 2006 as a result of cyberbullying.
Tina Meier is now traveling across the country, telling parents to take cyberbullying seriously.
"We all have a right to be here without being harassed or humiliated everyday," said Meirer.
Parents weren't the only ones in the audience. There was also a group from North Little Rock's Mayor's Youth Council at the event learning about prevention ideas.
"I have friends that have been bullied and I understand everything that goes on. Words do hurt," aid student Jessica Gates.
The group is hoping to start a program helping bullying victims.
