Thursday, the PCSSD school board launched an investigation into tracking down an insider who leaked a personnel report to the NAACP.  That report cleared Acting Superintendent Rob McGill of accusations he made racial comments.

"E-mail? I never made that statement," says NAACP member Rizelle Aaron.

"I don't think there was time to copy and send that to you by mail," said PCSSD Board Member Charlie Wood.

"I never made that statement," said Aaron.

"Well, I think you got it by e-mail. I can't prove it," said Wood.

It was a tense debate between PCSSD Board Member Charlie Wood and parent and NAACP member Rizelle Aaron about how this external investigation got into Aaron's hands.  It all started earlier in March when Aaron confronted McGill with the yet-to-be-made public report.

"I'm going to give it to everybody, but I want to make sure everybody knows you got it illegally from somebody sitting right here," said McGill.

Now, one board member wants an apology if the investigation reveals the report came from someone else.

"If you determine or you find out in the investigation would you issue a public apology? To the person who you think let this out?" asked Gwen Williams.

"I haven't made public who I think gave it out," said Wood.

"We're not going to go there tonight," said Board President Tim Clark.

If investigators figure out Aaron's source, and it's a board member, this isn't grounds to remove them.
