Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Investigates Jail Death
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a death at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock.
Erik Canada, 34, was found unresponsive in the infirmary area of the jail. Foul play is not suspected.
According to the man's mother, he was arrested on a DWI parole violation. Jackie Winn says her son was an alcoholic and she suspects he died from withdrawal.
Deputies say it could take months to learn the man's official cause of death.
