LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Knives, bats and clubs will soon be welcome in your flight carry-ons under a relaxed security policy going into effect this spring.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will allow small, foldable knives, souvenir baseball bats and golf clubs, along with other sports equipment.

According to TSA, the change is an effort to allow officers to focus on higher security risks like explosives.

Some citizens have mixed emotions about the new policy.

"I would like to bring my knife with me everywhere I go, I've always had a knife," says Ray Coombe.

"If you start to make these small changes, the list is going to get longer and longer until it's everybody's personal desire," says Thom Brown.

The changes do not go into effect until April 25.
