Thousands reinforcing power restoration crews

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Thousands of workers from out of state are in Arkansas in support of efforts to restore power to all Arkansans. The efforts involved not only electrical linemen but also tree trimming crews who are working to clear lines with limbs and trees on them.

The latest power outage numbers indicate there are just over 102,000 Entergy customers still without service. That is down from a high of 194,000.

The latest number from First Electric Cooperative show about 11,000 customers without power. That is down from a high of more than 30,000.

Tree trimming crews and power crews are working around the clock in an effort to restore service to everyone as quickly as possible.

Entergy Power Restoration Timeline

Friday: Conway, Cabot, and Jacksonville
Saturday: Byltheville, Searcy, and Augusta/McCrory
Sunday: Benton, Bryant, Carthage, Mt. Ida, Dallas County, Glenwood, Montgomery County, and Pike County

For customers in Little Rock, Western Grant County, Hot Springs, Malvern, Clark County, and Garland County, restoration is expected to take longer than 7 days.
