Pulaski County Sheriff's Department arrest four people Wednesday for the death of a man found near the I-430 bridge by a jogger.
Investigators say a runner saw the body of Jose Humberto Mejia lying in the bushes early in November. Mejia died from blunt force trauma.
LittleRock police and Pulaski County sheriff's deputies arrested 44-year-oldApolinar Vargas, 24-year-old Jose Espanosa, 48-year-old Alex Vargas,and 41-year-old Mario Nieto. The four were arrested Wednesday night forfirst-degree murder in the death of 57-year-old Jose Humberto Mejia.
They face charges ranging from first degree murder and abuse of a corpse to tampering with evidence.
Investigatorssay they believe Mejia was killed at an auto repair shop in northwestPulaski County and his body dumped under the bridge where it was foundNov. 8.
The four suspects are being held in the Pulaski County jail.
