Woman robs bank in Sherwood

Police are looking for a woman who they say robbed the Gravel Ridge branch of 1st Arkansas Bank and Trust.

At about 1:07 Wednesday afternoon a woman came inside the bank and presented the teller with a note demanding money.

The woman was 5'9", about 180lbs and was wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt with white writing on the front, a khaki ball cap with an unknown embroidered emblem on it and black sunglasses. She left the scene and headed northbound on Highway 107.

No bank employee was injured. The suspect did not indicate to the teller that she had a weapon. It is unknown at this time if the suspect got into a vehicle.
