Recap: Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M
Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Romero Osby scored 24 points as the Oklahoma Sooners closed the Big 12 Conference regular season with a 65-62 win over the Texas A&M Aggies at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Andrew Fitzgerald scored 10 points for the Sooners (15-15, 5-13 Big 12), while Cameron Clark grabbed nine rebounds. Sam Grooms added seven assists.
David Loubeau scored 15 points to lead the Aggies (13-17, 4-14). Khris Middleton added 14 points and seven rebounds. Elston Turner finished with 11 points and Daniel Alexander 10.
Oklahoma led 33-26 at halftime after shooting 44.8 percent from the floor in the opening stanza, while the Aggies shot 40.7 percent from the field.
The Sooners led by 14 with 15:52 remaining in the game but the Aggies rallied to within a point on two occasions, the last at 63-62 at the 15-second mark. Grooms hit two free throws for the Sooners with nine seconds left before Turner missed a three-point try at the buzzer.
Oklahoma shot 13-of-16 from the foul line, while Texas A&M went just 6-of-9 from the stripe.
