Recap: Minnesota vs. Pittsburgh
Lee County, FL (Sports Network) - Francisco Liriano tossed five no-hit innings Sunday and combined with four other pitchers on a one-hit shutout, leading the Minnesota Twins to a 10-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Jeff Gray and Samuel Dedundo carried the no-hitter through the seventh inning but it was broken up by Brandon Boggs' one-out single off Luis Perdomo in the eighth.
Boggs was thrown out trying to take second base and Perdomo and Casey Fien, who pitched the ninth, finished off the one-hitter.
Liriano had a walk and six strikeouts and Brian Dozier had solo home run among Minnesota's 13 hits.
The Twins scored five runs against Pirates starter Charlie Morton, who went three innings.
