Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Anthony Gose led off the top of the eighth inning with a walk and then promptly stole second, third and home for the game-deciding run as the Toronto Blue Jays downed the Boston Red Sox, 3-2, in Grapefruit League action.
Eric Thames' two-run single supplied the other offense for the Blue Jays, while starter Drew Hutchison allowed one run on four hits and a walk through four innings.
David Ortiz smacked a solo home run and Ryan Sweeney had an RBI double for Boston, which received a six-inning start from Alfredo Aceves in which he gave up two runs -- one earned -- on three hits and two walks.
