Ark. Tech, SWOSU players earn conference awards

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The Great American Conference has named Arkansas Tech guard Jared Williamson and Southwestern Oklahoma State guard Darcie Dick as its men's and women's players of the week.

Williamson was selected after averaging 16.7 points, 5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in wins over Harding, Ouachita Baptist and Southern Arkansas.

Dick was chosen for the third consecutive week after averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds per game in wins over East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The awards were announced Tuesday in a news release from the conference.
