FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ series opener at Alabama will be televised on ESPNU as part of the 2013 Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week package, as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the SEC and ESPN.

To accommodate television, the series against the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, Ala., will now take place from Thursday, April 4 to Saturday, April 6. Thursday night’s game will begin at 7 p.m., while Friday’s game will start at 6:35 p.m. The series wraps up on Saturday with a 6:05 p.m. first pitch.

The selection marks the third-straight year that the Razorbacks have been featured as part of the Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week package. Last season, Arkansas hosted Auburn in a Thursday night game. The Razorbacks set a school record with 28 games televised during the 2012 season. Other television arrangements for the 2013 season will be announced at a later date.

Arkansas opens the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 15, at 3:05 p.m. as it hosts Western Illinois at Baum Stadium.
